Yes rat poison can kill a dog. Get your dog to a vet immediately before it is too late! Rat poison can work through a dogs systom very quickly. Bleeding through the nose and small pupils are a symptom. She could have also been hit by a car if she isn't walking right either. Either way your dog needs to be seen immediately.

Rat poison can kill a dog! Call the poison control center or emergency vet quickly!
Pesticides cause quick uneasiness, vomits and spasms.
Rat poisoning: the dog weakens gradually, that is not suddenly, a sanguine salivation comes out of his mouth, and his urine and feces also have some blood. Vets have a special Vitamin K solution that will rid the poison.

Some symptoms of poisoned dogs include convulsions, extreme drooling and twitching of muscles and trembling, and bleeding from the nose and/or mouth and decreased size in pupils.
Yes, I would think that it is possible that she may be poisoned. The main thing that leads me to think this is the pupils and the difference in her attitude. You should take her to a vet and if she is indeed poisoned, call the police and tell everybody that you know that has a dog to watch out. This is very sad, please let us know what happens to you puppy.

To begin with, you should take her to the vet instead of asking people on here about it. Keeping your dog with out vet treatment and in pain clearly is animal cruelity.

Secondly, did you ever consider the fact she might have been hit by a car?

Depending on how long ago, rat poision would have all ready killed her. Antifreeze is another posion that will kill your dog but takes a lot longer. If its anitfreeze, she can be saved if taken to the vet ASAP

either way, stop beating around the bush and take her to a doctor

My dog got into rat poison when he was a puppy and we called a vet ASAP who told us to give him a couple of tbsp of hydrogen peroxide as it makes dogs throw up. You should get a hold of a vet--if it was a rat poison the dog has to take vitamin K for a month after. Good luck!

Ya she is poisned. She needs medical attention immediatly or you are gonna loose her. Once its obsorbed into the system there is no telling what can happen. My rat terrier got in rimadyl (anti-imflamatory for dog) and ate 10x's the amount a dog that size should off. She almost died. I took himto the vet and they had to pump fluids in her all afternoon and hope for the best. Take her in ASAP or she will die!

I believe that rat poison in America is the kind that only kills animals that can't vomit it back up. It could make her sick though and it sounds like you're not positive what she got into so a vet visit is really the way to go. I hope it's nothing too serious.

It's very possible she is. Take her to the vet ASAP if you can to get her checked out!!! Another sign of poisoning is swelling Especially if she's had anything to drink.

The poisons in rat and mouse bait inhibit blood clotting, and yes, your dog will hemhorrage to death from every orifice. She needs emergency medical attention right away.
