Here are some questions on plants that I need....
1. How do plants survive for an extended amount of time with no light?
2. Why does a leaf use red and blue light?
3. Whar are the main components yeast needs to ferment?
4.Where and how does the yeas recieve these materials?

Kinda confusing...so do whatever you can...!

1. Plants use stores of engery when there is no light. Almost always, the stores they use are stored deposits of STARCH.
2. ??? (sorry)

3. Needs sugar and the lack of oxygen.
4. Sugar in fruits and other food (grapes=wine, potatoes=vodka, sugar cane=rum).

2. The chlorophyll (especially "chlore") present in leaves is a green pigment which rejects only green light from the sunlight, like a green pair of socks or a green hat would do. Thus, the blue and red components of light are absorbed, and the third, green, is possibly changed into heat.
