My parents, brother and I have vacationed in Florida about four times. I have really only passed through Georgia. I can't say which I would rather stay in, but I love the southern weather in the winter! I really like Florida, it is such a change from Ohio. I love the ocean, marinas, lighthouses, and ocean scent. I also like crocodiles and saw them several times in Florida. Snowy egrets would walk right by in a park that I went to. While passing through Georgia, I remember seeing rows upon rows of orange groves. I can't remember where they were though, as it was several years ago. I like both states, but would have to choose Florida over Georgia based on memories.

Stay or live? I think there are some great places to visit in Georgia but after living in the South wouldn't want to live there again. Florida would be my choice to live.

Georgia - the people are nicer, there is a cool big city there with lots of things to do & culture, good mix of people groups, tons of history & business, and they have some super things to do for site seeing. Georgia has the beaches, too, but it also has the mountains and lots of outdoor activities. The music scene is hopping and there are plenty of young people in the state. Much cheaper to live there, too, and jobs are pretty plentiful.

I will take Ga. every time. I have relatives in Fla. Its even more humid than in Ga. And we don't have too worry as much with hurricanes! They can keep those 200 mile per hour winds down there where they belong!
