My husband's goal is to get a jobin one of the embasies there. I would love to hear from someone that has been there already. i've heard a lot of stuff none of them positive. please help. Im freaking out already.

for the Marines, Embassy duty is UNACOMPANIED. In fact, I want to say that they cannot even be married in order to get Embassy duty.

as for the other Branches, I have only heard of Officers getting Acompanied Embassy duty, not enlisted. not to say it isn't a possibility, just that I have never heard of it happening.

me. personally.. I wouldn't go to South America. too much unrest and problems with drug dealers and corrupt governments. If he had orders there, he'd be going alone regardless. Now Australia or Dubai.. oh yeah, I'd be right there with him...
