The little girl is you
The bird is a loved one who has died (the crow has always been a symbol of a human soul who has died....the crow carries the soul)
The chains are you not letting go of the dead soul (loved one died recently or in your past that has really affected you).

Let go of it (the death of a loved one), because as you stated, the crow was very dirty/tired, because you will not let it go to rest..........

Katecool......nice...trying to steal an answer is so very "cool"

This dream sounds like it it in referrence to someone you know who is a believer in Jesus Christ. The red dress represents being covered in salvation. The chains you saw represent being bound by sin and bondage in her life and she is in great distress. The crow or person you saw represents a foul spirit which is working through someone or people to drag her to a worse place. The reason the crow can not pull the chain is because the salvation of God is still working in this person's life. And the crow which you saw was dirty and exhausted because he is fighting a losing battle. But you said the girl found her mother which represents the comfort and nuturing care of God. The Lord is showing you someone who is saved but they may be a backslider. But you said she tried to kill you. This is in referrence to bad attittudes she may display at you, but don't take it personally. Because this person is acting out of the misery of their bondage.

It sounds like theres a hidden aspect of yourself that your denying and that really needs and wants to either change and/or come out. You may want to do some soul searching and see if you cant figure out what part of you may need to mature.
