ex boyfriends are just off limits. i'm sorry. if you tell her that you like him, and she gets mad, she has every right to. UNLESS she broke up with him after 3 days bc she rly didnt like him. if it was a "mutual breakup" or he dumped her then you cant do it!!
(if she broke up with him then stop reading my answer. if it was mutual or he dumped her continue below)
you're feeling vulnerable and probably like him bc you just got over a guy and are looking for another guy to like - so you take a cute guy whos friendly and nice. too bad that your best friend got to him first. you shouldnt act on it. this feeling will probably pass.
and ps -- anyone whos going to say "if she's really your friend then she wont get mad" doenst know what the hell they are talking about. if your best friend came to you and told you that she likes the guy that you just got over -- would u be kind and understanding?? also, you can argue the other way and say "if your really her friend then you shouldnt make her upset by mentioning that you MIGHT like her exboyfriend MAYBE... "
i dont think you should tell her. the feeling will probably pass once you find a new guy that you're interested in.

i was in the same situation. my friend dated this guy for like 5 months and they were totally wrong for each other. This guy was one of my really good friends from the beginning and i started liking him when they were dating. a few weeks after they broke up i told him and we decided not to do anything. But recently we talked again and now we are dating and in love. My friend was ok with it she just doesnt want to hang out with us and stuff and i respect her and she respects me. Just dont ruin a friendship for this guy and if shes a true friend she will be happy for you.

i think before you talk to your friend you need to figure out if you REALLY like this guy...think it through in your head. do you think a relationship between you and this guy could work? if yes then talk to your friend. just tell her that you're starting to have feelings for her ex-boyfriend. she only dated him for 3 days so she should be able to understand. i was in a similar situation and i just talked to my friend about it. then i told the guy that i liked him and it turned out he liked me too.
i hope this helps. Good Luck!!

might as well try it out. 3 days doesn't count for anything so it's not like it's anything too bad. you might still want to ask your girl friend first, but you might as well ask the guy out and see how it goes.

Ask her about how she would feel. If she gets upset tell her that you wont date him and DONT. Friends are more important than boys. If she doesnt care, then go for it!
