meh. go for it.

there aren't many soldiers who really join for the 'serve my country' reasons anymore. most have no other option and want the benefits. is it really so bad to want free housing, no utility bills, free medical care and free college?

Obviously, the benefits are an incentive to join, but should never be the only reason. Anyone who hopes that they will be shot and die is going to be an immediate danger to the troops around him who constantly depend on each other for protection.
My advice would be to seek professional help - immediately.

The military gives the best benefits for free, it is a great incentive. It is just one reason to join,. PS. I dont need to know about his/ HER balls. Does not apply!

What benifits. Most soldiers can't afford to get a free ride with what the military gives them now compared to those of us who got our benifits during the Viet Nam era.

Dont be stupid, if you cant kill yourself, then you wont have the balls to go into battle, if your looking for reward your going to be the first to die. A real soldier is the one that goes out there for a good reason, because they want to, to help something or someone. You cant force a man to fight and you cant go out there looking to profit

If they are in it JUST for the benefits, I say good luck with that and if they are hoping to get shot, they need serious help.
