what should i look out for?

- Buyer's feedback rating (only buy if excellent)
- Have they sold cars on eBay before? A lot of the sellers are dealers so their feedback will include car transactions and you can get a good idea of how reputable they are. I would avoid people who've never sold cars before, even if they have good feedback on other transactions.
- Shipping charges. This can easily cost over $1000, so factor that in when you bid -- it may wipe out any potential savings. Also, you will still need to pay sales tax on the purchase when you register the car in your state.
- I see a lot of "salvage" title cars are on there. I would avoid, unless you're able to inspect the car before purchase.

Dont buy a car from ebay.
It is too expensive.
You can try government seized car online auctions:
http://economy-car.info
Every day, the government confiscates, seizes and repossesses thousands of Vehicles. These vehicles are usually typically listed at 90% OFF their original value and auctions usually start at $100.
Good luck!

I wouldn't buy a car I couldn't inspect before buying.
