Oh, but all those children don't count 'cause they weren't god's chosen people. It was kinda like setting off a bug bomb in a roach-infested house, I guess. Loving and merciful god, eh?

It wasn't Moses' plague, it was God's judgment.
Exodus reveals that all the Egyptians were in favor of releasing the Israelites, EXCEPT old Pharaoh himself. His own pride kept him from admitting that the God of Moses was more powerful that all the gods of Egypt.
The final plague was an affront to the gods of Egypt, because the Egyptians dedicated their first-born(s) to their gods.
All of the plagues were a contest between God and Pharaoh because Pharaoh would not humble himself before God.

Run: I think that you are out of breath on this one ! Remember; God is and was at THAT time formulating a Plan for His human Creation, starting with the Ancient Israelites - the Jews. God can make people alive AGAIN and will, at the return of His Son, Jesus Christ, to the Earth a second time. (Read about it in the pages of the Holy Bible). There will be a GREAT need to renovate the planet after we have finished polluting it and nuking it, God is preparing a people to HELP in the process. As Paul Harvey says, "Now; for the rest of the story" !!!

It was God's judgment (the plagues) on Pharaoh, not Moses.
Moses was God's messenger.
And Pharaoh's firstborn was live and I believe 10 years old.
He was not still in the womb.
Also, the Pharaoh's god demanded that the firstborn be dedicated and given to him, so by allowing the Pharaoh's firstborn to be taken away (die), God showed His sovereignty & power over Pharoah's useless god.

Over and above that, The Egyptian people WANTED the Pharoah to free the Jews, yet Pharoah failed to listen to them and ignored them. So, the Egyptian people, who did not know or believe in the God of Abraham, Issac, & Jacob and did not mark their doorpost with the blood of a spotless white lamb that day before sunset, lost their firstborn children too.

Unfortunately this never happened. Not any part of the mythological story can be found anywhere in Egipt. This can only be found in the bible. It is supposed to span over 400 years of their slavery and ended with Red Sea opening & closing huh.

I don't think so.

Pharaoh spoke it over his own nation when Moses went to ask him to let Gods people go. God sent the death angel to kill the first born. God is the boss and He can do what ever He wants but we cant as humans.

Definitely murder .... the Pharoah murdered his people as surely as if he'd stabbed them himself.

I mean, how many times would it take you before you believed you were hearing from God?
