Okay. So, I'm going out with this boy. I'll call him K. but his best friend, who I"ll call C, is so hot, I have trouble not drooling when I see him. I've been having some trouble decideing which one I want more. My loving, caring boyfriend, or the hottie best friend. So, here's how my theory starts. Me and K are kissing on my bed. I find this nickel(canadian 5 cent) in his pocket, and we played with it for a bit. We soon lost it, and went back to our kissing. That night, at C's house, we were all standing under a crab apple tree, when C started shaking it. The petals fell all over us. That night, as I'm getting undressed, I find the nickel stuck in my bra directly over my heart. As I'm removing my pants, I find the flower petal in my underwear by my...well...you know. I put the nickel and the petal on my desk and go to sleep. When I wake up, the petal is gone. I figured that the nickel from K represtented the love I had for him in my heart, and the petal (con't in detail)

represented my sexual desire for C. That night, something removed the petal, and made the choice for me. I should always go with my heart. Any comments?

It's a cool story, well told; do you read Isabelle Allende? Clean up the shifting tenses and it'll be great!

Another side to the symbolism: The petal represents evanescent beauty (the hottie), while the coin represents enduring value (the BF). The petal is sweet, but blows away with the slightest puff of a breeze: the coin will withstand the tempests to come.

Keep writing, but read White & Strink's "Elements of Style." It's meant for expository writing and shouldn't be used as a rule book for the more creative side of the craft, but it also helps to avoid obvious problems. To balance it, you could take a peek at King's "OP Writing" or "On Writing Well" by Kinnser.

Always go for the heart. Your bf sounds like he really cares for you. Personality is a key in a long lasting relationship and dumping for his best friend will not only ruin your relationship with him, but also with his best friend. Stay with K.

I think you should stay with your man the only reason why you want his friend is because he is sexy not all the time is looks going to be the attraction and you should follow the theory even if it's scary but true

you have a wild imagination

maybe base your decisions on something a bit more real than where petals are

dont rely on outside events

use your mind, dont waste it

I think God is showing you what to do. I think you should stick with ur bf, because 1. You will screw up him and his friends' friendship if you pursue nething with "c" and 2. You will screw up YOUR guys friendship if you pursue anything. I think that this is a really cool theory, and it really makes sense....

O.O wow...that oddly made sense.

I think you should stick w/ your boy (like your heart tells you to)

Honestly most "hot" guys are butthole because they are too full of themselves
