How can I make the McAfee virus scan only scan files that I am downloading? I intend to download songs from limewire, and I need this to make sure that I don't download any viruses. Thank you so much! :)

Download McAfee site adviser. It scans each website on your request and tells you if it is infected with spy-ware and the like or not.
Another way is to download the file onto something like a zip drive once you do just tell your PC to scan that specific drive.

You need to find out if it scans downloads from the web.This should be under e-mail setting within the console.
