Wait! Wait! Wait!
Date other women. This girl is way too young. I don't care how much you care for her, she is too young for you. Emotionally she is not ready for an adult relationship no matter how mature you might think she is. Let her have the rest of her teenage years to grow up and date boys her own age. Tell her how you feel the second she turns 18. That way, she's legal and she has a few more years to grow up before you try to start something with her.
BTW, my husband and I have a 12 year age difference. We met when I was 19. We were married a few days before my 21st birthday. Anyway, the age difference isn't a huge deal now (I am 27 and he is 40). But early on, it was more difficult because he liked to think he knew everything because he had more life experience. I could have used a few more years to grow up (before we got married), If that had been the case, our relationship would have had less issues. Like I said, thoses things have since been resolved but it took 5 years to finally get on the same page.
DATE OTHER WOMEN for the next 2 years. Date women your own age. Date women that are LEGAL.
Give her a chance to grow up.

How well do you know her? Are you very much involved in her life if at all? For now, it is probably best to be good friends with her, hang out with her and have fun. If you find that she likes you, when then that is a different story. Remember, if other people find out, what will this do to your image in your group? The legality of it is also against your favor, but you never know, 18 is only a couple of years away.

For the sake of her, you shouldn't approach her now since she's still a teenager who still need some good fine years to become a woman. Wait till she's up and out on her own, then you may express your feeling to her. If you love her, you should let her grow up to be a woman first. At the same time, you should first become a real man who can afford a home for your future wife. You'll never regret for it.

It's best you don't tell her. I sympathize for you, this must be very hard. You say she's your crush...is it worth it to share your feelings when you know there's a possiblity it will be misenterpreted and you could get falsely accused of something?
Wait til she's 18. Then tell her. But for now explore other options. Go out and have fun and don't wait around for her. you don't even know if she feels the same and 2 years is a long time to put your life on hold.
Best of luck!

No way should you tell her.
At her age she would probably tell everyone
she knows that an older man has a crush on her.
You are playing very dangerously. You should find
someone closer to your age, she is still a minor and
you could end up in big trouble.

Defiantly wait until she's older, she' only 16 she's probably not ready for a relationship like you might since your older. That would kinda weird me out if someone 12 years older than me said they had a crush on me.

Age is just a number the only reason why it matters to soo many is because we dont live forever... But wait at least she's 18 before you do something.. tell her how you feel now so she wont go with someone else..

In most states if not all that would be considered wrong. You shouldn't put her in that position as well as you. Even if the parents agree they may turn around at some point and disagree and press charges. That kind of offense will stay with you for the rest of your life.

dude- hit the brakes. #1- she's 16. #2- you're 25-26. if you really want something to happen LATER ON in the future, keep your feelings inside. seriously. atleast wait until the girl is 18 NO MATTER HOW TEMPTING IT IS. just be her friend only. if it's meant to be, it'll happen later....
