So......... you own a buffalo, huh? Never seen a buffalo dog before.
It's Bichon Frise ............Not bison frise
I don't care for poodles too much (cute though) they are too snippy and yappy.
When our kids were little we had a cute little black and white cockapoo named Duppers. Sweetest thing, but dumber then a box of rocks.
And Labradoodles.......... well, I've seen one and did not think too much of it. Cute , but that's about it.
Get another bichon, But only if you can handle the responsibility of two dogs and have the time to spend with them.

Well, it depends upon whether you would like to own a purebred dog or a MUTT. Bichon Frises and poodles are purebred dogs and can be obtained either through a responsible breeder or through a purebred rescue group.
Cockapoos and Labradoodles arer mutts bred by unscrupulous people trying to cheat you into thinking they are NEW or RARE breeds, and should only be obtained through rescues or shelters, where they are increasingly found.
Those individuals who are producing mutts and dubbing them with "Designer dog" names are motivated solely by greed and are not only perpetrating an unscrupulous scam on the public, but doing harm to the very dogs they breed. They do NO health screenings or genetic testing at all. They do not even breed to a standard, (because there is none). They don't guarantee to take their dogs back like responsible breeders do, so their numbers are growing in shelters.
Please don't support that unethical breeding practice.

Poodle and Bichon Frise. I am hopeing to get a poodle one day and we work for a bichon rescue. I don't like labradoodles or cockapoos because the breed clubs hate them (unless they are rescue dogs, which is the labradoodle I'll be geting one day).

None of those particularly suit my fancy, and I agree that you should steer clear of "designer" breeds. The lesser of all those evils is the pure bred poodle, no shedding and smart as whips. But go to a reputable breeder, NO PET SHOPS.

none of the above. the bichon and the poodle require lots of grooming (as does the labradoodle and cockapoo), and the other two come from backyard breeders or puppy mills.

Labradoodles are the most loyal, playful, and most of all the cutest.
