Okay, heres the deal. I went on vacation to Flordia and met a guy named James. He asked me out, after we got to know each other, and I said yes. Is it bad to date him long distance if he lives in Gerogia and I live in Indiana? We seem to be getting along really well and talk on the phone every day, along with the computer. Is this wrong? Is dating him a bad idea? Hes a really good guy and i just dont know if its okay to date someone long distance....hes done it before. He said it usually worked out fine with him. Is it wrong?

The thing with long distance relationships is that they never work out because one of the people cheat because your far away and they cant get any pleasure

It's not or bad. Just remember the limits of a long distance relationship. There is a lot you'll have to work around, but it's not wrong if you guys really like each other and especially if it's working out so far. If it's the wrong kind of relationship for you, then that's something you'll have to ask yourself about. Other than that, no need to fret.

Hey man, If theres no immediate plans to move and be together then it wont work. You will just become someone who comes into his life every once in a while for sex. You'll notice the phone calls drifting away and he'll seem busyer more and more. Don't wait around for this, get out more and don't pass up opportunities to go out on dates. I'm positive he's not.

no its not wrong atall!! It might take a lot of work and a lot of money to see each other but with effort it can work out!! Also a long- distance realationship can be fun and the times you will have together will be more special if you dont see him all the time! Good luck

Long distance relationships work much better with someone who you already have a relationship with for a period of time. A new relationship may now want the extra strain of long distance.

No it's not wrong at all. But I would suggest not to expect it ever to become more than what it is. You will probably end up just being friends in the end. But thats okay! Have fun and good luck! :))

it sounds fine. def not "wrong". it works out 4 some ppl well, some not so well. but he sounds like he wants 2 make it work. if u really like him, then u should try 2 make it work also. talking often is good. u 2 seem alrite.

No it is not wrong unless there is marriage involved. So are you going to ever seen him in person again?

If you like him enough it should work out. Though quite often these relationships back fire.
