--that you don't need support and comfort from a certain person, that you can survive more than fine on your own. Even though, you will still care about him or her and will try to not hold any grudges.

Okay, but you shouldn't be obsessing on it at all. Go on with your life--have summer fun--plan barbecues, camping trips, picnics, etc. with family and friends.

It's helpful to keep a journal to write in when you are thinking about that certain person--put it all down on paper, which is therapeutic, and can be saved to see how much you improve over time.

Keep busy doing things that you like to do.

Feel better. :)

Sounds fine to me. If you feel this way about everybody and do not want support and comfort from anyone at all, then you need to worry a little.

I'd say that you need balance. It's good to have support or conmfort or whatnot, but you shouldn't feel dependent on it. On the flip side, I think it's a bad idea to push people away so that you don't have to get close to them.

You can think like that..... it is healthy because you should think that you don't need another person to survive.... thats what makes you independent.

Very healthy...because if there is someone you love and are not happy with, it is good that you are a non dependent woman, who can make a clear wise decision, and do what's best for both of you.

That is exactly how I think.
And I'm not on any meds, not seeing a counselor or anything.
So yeah, you're fine :] It's healthy.
