I've just finished my first year of college and now am back home for the summer. I really need to make money so getting a job is crucial. But at the same time I want a job that I will really be able to enjoy and benefit from. I've done fast food jobs before in the past a really don't see myself going back to something like that. My majors are International Business and Spanish and I'd like to find a job that might allow me to advance my Spanish speaking abilities (I'm fairly fluent right now) as well as enhance my knowledge of the business field. Plus I'm sure it would look great on my resume if I have experience working with my two majors. Does anyone know of any good jobs that I can look into?

Go to a temporary agency for a summer job. You will get more business experience, and it will look better than fast food or retail. It may even give you an advantage to an internship for next year, having some business experience.

You may work in one place, or several. You will get exposed to different work experiences, and different people, and it may show you things you like and don't like for future jobs.

Jobs like you're describing are usually internships, and are usually after two or three years of college. Also, they're arranged for long before school is out.

If you're just starting now to look, you're likely stuck with the fast food type job.
