To be honest, it's really about how well of a driver you are. If you drive so well that you never get pulled over then ... well ... no one's going to know. It's kind of like the whole law about not being able to drive with your friends the first 5 months of having a provisional license. I ride around with my friends all the time - and none of them (except for one) has had their license for 5 months. But if we get caught that's another story.

My advice to you is - figure out whether or not its worth it to you. You might get away with it just fine, and never be asked for your license & registration. But if you know you're likely to get caught, don't do it. Cause if you get caught, you get your learner's revoked, started over, you get fined, or a number of things that I'm sure aren't worth it.

If I were you, I definately wouldn't chance it. Why are you 17 and don't have a license yet??? I am not sure about Colorado but, I have heard in some areas you lose your permit and it will also take longer for you to acquire a license. The choice is up to you but, think about whether it is worth the risk or not.

They revoke your permit and suspend you from even taking the license test for a year or maybe even more. It's not even worth it. Soon enough you'll have your license so don't chance it.

Think about what you said in your question. "........i dont have my license" so you would be charged with driving without a license if you were caught.

well driving without a lisence would be the first that comes to mind.

either way if you are caught, the amount of time you have to wait will be made longer...
