ONE thumbs up, how disappointed are you? Do you quickly jump to the next question or do you ponder over your response wondering how you could have said it differently?

Gettiing a response, any response, means you have people thinking. That's what it's all about.

There's no need to be disappointed over something such as this. In the R&S forum, thumb ratings are indicative of popularity, not the quality of answers. Since I've never been a very popular person, I've received a good many td's. Thirty-seven is my record.

And I go straight to the next question, there's no use crying over spilled milk.

I guess it's all a matter of other people thinking your answer was 'very wise or very witty', not just you.

I don't even look to see if they go up or down, myself.

It doesn't bother me. The word of God tells me in II Tim 4 to preach the gospel in season and out of season, reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering, and doctrine...so I do and if no one 'approves' it, then so what?
Often times we look to man for approval, when our focus should be on the Lord, our God.

I bow to Red Queen.. she is my heroine.. 37 ?? WOW
I think the most I've ever gotten was 7.. I feel so.. inadequate!

I don't really get upset over it.. it's a fun place to be and sometimes you're the winshield.. sometimes you're the bug.

I don't bother with small things. I don't even go back to my answers. Once I give an answer, I move on and not look back.

I don't answer to get thumbs up. I don't get upset when I get thumbs down.
I try to give my view point, and move on.

I don't care - I don't even look to see what my answers get thumbs-wise.

I KNOW. I guess I must have a unique way of looking at life. I crack myself up all the time.
