No, their missionary tactics are totally random. I was visited twice in the same week after saying no. You would think that they would have a list or keep a tally but no they go knocking on any door.

Interesting question.
Mormons believe that everyone will have the opportunity at some point to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ and either accept or reject it. Those who hear the gospel of Jesus Christ, accept it, and strive to live it will receive the blessings associated with doing so. This opportunity will come in this life or the next. They believe that understanding Christ's gospel brings true happiness and purpose as well as understanding.
So, the Mormons have a large missionary effort to try to teach Christ's Gospel to all the world so that God's children can hear his word.
As for having them not come by, A smile and a "no thank you" will generally get the job done. As for "junk mail"....theirs and everyone else's....good luck. The good news is that it's easy enough to throw away.

In one sense yes, in another no. Mormons believe that the Gospel will be preached in the Spirit World after you die. Thus if you do not convert in this life, you will have opportunity to in the next. However, there is a difference between not knowing about the Church, not converting, and explicitly rejecting the Gospel. If you explicitly reject the Gospel here, you are less likely to in the future.
There are no solicitation lists, they are walking up to every door in the neighborhood.

Short answer, yes, certainly.
Were Peter and the disciples of Christ, Mormons? No. Was there a path for them to go to heaven? Of course.
Let me ask you a few questions. If God tells you that you must do certain things in order to enter the kingdom of heaven, such as believe in Jesus Christ as your Savior, can you enter heaven contrary to God's will? Can you choose to reject some of the requirements God has set and expect with true faith that you will go to heaven?
Is there a Church on the earth today that has the keys of the kingdom, which will teach you what you need to know, and is authorized to bind on earth what will be bound in heaven? There was such a church that Jesus himself organized. If Jesus organizes a church, and you refuse to join it, can you make your own path, or are you a thief trying to get into the kingdom not through the gate Jesus has established? Check the Bible for the answer to that.
As for Mr. Peepers, very funny. "This was all conceived by someone who discovered early on he could say anything outrageous and have people believe him fervently." You have discovered something that you use yourself that Joseph Smith never used.

You won't go to hell the only ones who will go to hell are the people who deny Christ and those who knew the truth but then later denied (we are not quite sure who this will include). There are the three degrees of heaven, the first level is for those who married and sealed in the temple, the next level is where most of the rest of people will go, the last one is for murders, rapists, people like that (not coffee drinkers as the one guy said) But really only God knows where everyone will truly end up. It is really not up to us to decide.

You can still go to heaven if you are a non-mormon. God will not send you to hell just because you are not part of a certain religion. I am a Mormon myself, and many times, Sunday School teachers, Leaders, Bishops, and many others have mentioned that God judges you for your actions in life.

i am sorry but for one i really don't believe in a church where not everyone is welcome, or a church that goes off a book other than the bible. but from what i know there are three levels of heaven those who are married i think in the temple and so on from there. as far as them knocking on your door all you can do is say just don't come back. i tell them that i found the lord. my grammy pulls out her bible and starts pointing out the conradictions from the book of mormon and the bible. that usually makes them not come back either. there are a lot of very nice mormons out there don't get me wrong, i just think that god lets everyone in his house you don't have to have a card or be on the list, no matter what the church or temple is. hope that this helps

everyone goes to heaven except for those who had the truth and then denied it and defied God and those who deny Jesus. There are 3 degrees of glory: Celestial, for those who have been baptized by immersion, and sealed in the temple; Terrestrial, for those who recieved a testimony of the truth after they had died, those who were good people blinded by "the craftiness of men"; Telestial, for those who didn't recieve the gospel nor the testimony of Jesus. The Telestial is hell. Those who don't go to heaven go to the outer darkness. I'm 15 and would like to tell you that I know this church is true for a fact.

We are a true religion. I also believe that no matter what your religion is, your faith and acts also count to go to heaven but I am not anyone to tell if you're going to heaven or not, only God will decide that.

You're not necessarily damned to hell if you don't convert to mormonism: There are three degrees of "heaven" first described in 1795 by Emmanuel Swedenborg and morphed into mormon theology. The Celestial is where only temple recommend holding mormons end up. Brigham Young taught you will be 'damned' if you don't have multiple wives, but didn't specify actually where. This is the group that gets to become gods themselves. The next lower, or Terrestial is where the rest of humanity will end up, and to be administering angels - a desk job for eternity. The lowest kingdom, Telestial, is for thieves, rapists, murderers and those who drink coffee.
J Smith added a fourth even lower place called 'Outer Darkness' where the 'Sons of Perdition' go. That'll be the most enlightened group of all: Scientists, theologists, philosophers, artists, and perhaps many gays.
This was all conceived by someone who discovered early on he could say anything outrageous and have people believe him fervently.
Being in Utah means the church gets to harass you mercilessly while if you complain, they'll bring up the First Amendment - Sort of like Larry Flynt and Pornography...

I think the mormons are freaking out because christian chruches have started popping up in Utah, and maybe the thing were their is a differnat church on every corner, instead of a differant mormon church on every corner is starting to take over Utah and the church is scared, so they are trying to convert ex-mormons, jack mormon and all others to the faith. Or are you saying that other churches are trying to get you to go to their church, probably before the cult/mormon church grabs you and you disappear into the black hole of mormnism, were you will never return again. Something like that. Just use them for kindeling, in your fireplace, you said it was a cabin, right?
