It sounds like your dog has an obedience problem. Why not take her to some classes before putting her under the knife again. Why would you want to physically change your dog for a behavioural problem? Training her is the only way to fix it not by surgery. Talk to your vet about classes that are in your area, they often have the names and #'s of reputable dog trainers in your area. Good luck

Is this going on when you are gone and the dog is alone? If so she misses you. As much as it may be a pain get her some company, Yes another dog. They will keep each other company and stop the problem. I have three dogs and they only bark when there is a threat to the house. My Beagle is the least likely to bark. He only does when the other two do and he thinks it is a real problem.

I have a puggle, which is half pug and half beagle. When we first got her as a puppy she barked at everything. What was even worse was her howling at the doors and windows when ppl would walk by. Our vet told us to hold her snout closed for 5 seconds everytime she has unwanted barking. It took awhile(about 2 weeks of steadily doing this) but she has stopped and now I have the problem with my lab. He will get right up in my face and bark all the time, doesn't matter if he just came inside, has food and water, just played....he is always barking. We are using the same method with him and also giving him a stern look when he barks at us. It's starting to decrease but still it is very annoying and I'm sure our neighbors hate it. Hope this was a little help!

If you are always giving your dog attention when ever it barks even if it not playful attention but just saying stop it is attention to a dog, that might be why she is doing it. If you ignore her when she barks and then when she stops barking pet her and give her lots of love and if she starts to bark then stop all attention until she stop, but if not there is some sort of other problem going on with your dog and I would suggest obedience training. Good luck

A shock collar may or may not work. My Beagle barked with it on so much he burned his hair off where the collar touches. Unless your dog is part starfish it is unlikely the vocal cords grew back. It is more likely the procedure wasn't complete.

you could get them cut again but then again if they keep growing back then its just a waste of money right i suggest getting a shock collar it will shock the dog every time it barks it doesn't harm the dog it like getting a pinch but it helps

You should take your dog to obedience school and tell the trainer your problem. Maybe that will help.
and if it continues you should get its tonsils out again.
