] go through all your kitchen stuff and throw things away!
] store items you don't use often [ turkey pan, etc ] in an area in laundry room, for example.
] go to a storage or container store, with measurements of all drawers and cabinets you need to re-organize [ width, depth, and height ]
] keep counters as uncluttered as possible - leave out only appliances you use every day [ coffeemaker, toaster ] and some ornamental items that serve a purpose [ pretty canisters, or salt and pepper, cookie jar, etc. ]
] leave a small centerpiece on table - such as small vase with flowers, pretty napkin/salt and pepper holders, a bright fruit bowl in the color of your kitchen.
] Coordinate placemats, curtains, appliance covers so they are all one color [ blue ] or print [ pink/green flowers ]or a mixture of one color [ green ] and one print [ pink/green flowers ].
] try to keep most of the colors in your kitchen the same, using one print, and one or two solids [ including walls/floor ], max, for a small kitchen.
