I don't make promises that I don't intend to keep, and I always intend to keep every promise I make and do everything withing my power to keep them. Very rarely has some unforeseen circumstance prevented me carrying out my promise. But my father taught me to honor my word, that a person was measured by their word, and so your word should be your bond.

I do try to keep my promises to the women in my life but sometimes I slip up and forget but i make sure to apologize for my mistakes. I hope this answers you question.

Of course if the guy has morals then we keep our promises to our girlfriends because we love them and don't want to lose them.

i never make promises I don't intend on keeping. That goes for friends, girlfriends, teachers, people i don't like, anyone.
