YOU ARE SEEING THE WARNING SIGNS, I am a veterinary nurse at a emergency clinic and although there are dog friendly weed killers out there, alot can still cause serious problems. The signs are what you mentioned but it could just be a coincidence and he may have another problem.
1 = gastritis, a bug he has picked up, he will need treatment as he will get dehydrated which if left can be fatal.
2 = a FB, he could of eaten something that is stuck or his intestines could be twisted, he will need to see a vet asap as he may need operated on and he will need to be hydrated.

whatever one it is he needs treatment now otherwise he will become very dehydrated and collapse and if it is the weed killer if he doesnt get supportive treatment he may become worse and it may be 2 late for treatment.

good luck with him but please phone your emergency clinic tonight

Hopefully by the time I seen your question, you are on your way to the vet. I hope your dog is going to be fine. For future use here is a couple poison sites. I would print them out.http://workingdogs.com/doc0175htm This site is throwing up another page than what I had found, but just type in poison & hit search on the page that does come up for you. & http://doctordog.com/dogbook/dogpoison.html Here is a phone number for poison control but it read there may be a fee they'll charge to a credit card (that sucks) 1-888-426-4435

He is dehydrated and probably needs IV fluids.
You did not specify how long ago this was, but I am guessing more than a day, so it is too late to induce vomiting.
What you are describing are the warning signs. You could lose him without medical intervention.
Call you vet today.
Good luck.

I think it is time for you to take him to a vet he already sounds really sick.
You need to find out what the weed killer was and take the label or the bottle with you so you can show the vet.

If your child was exhibiting the same symptoms, after your husband sprayed the yard, how long would you wait to go to the emergency room?

You should not own a dog...

You need to get Jake to the vet NOW!

For future reference you need to learn more about being a truly responsible pet owner.

You need to call your vet. The symptoms you have described are sighs of poisoning. Please try and remember what the product was or find the box so you know what the active ingredient is. This will help your veterinarian determine what type of treatment is needed and how dangerous it is.
