Landlord told me about electric charges pulled by my magnetic clips from the breakers. Is this true or a myth? Had them there for over 2 yrs. and had no problems. Can't get your show anymore but hope you can e-mail me if you test this therey. Martha

False. There is no way a magnet can 'pull electric charges' from a breaker box unless the magnet touches a bare electrical wire or some electically energized metal. If the electrical wiring inside the box is proper and has no problem you can put all the magnets on the outside of the box you want with no risk.

Complete bunk. Magnets cannot pull a charge from the box. If you get shocked the box has a short and you have to be grounded.
