I'm going on holiday to America next week, and there's a dvd that I really want to buy.
Is there any way I can buy it, then get back to Britain, and copy it or restructure it, so I can watch it on a British dvd player?

I own a DVD recorder I bought in the U.K. It's a Sony.

It will play DVDs from anywhere in the world - it was region-free, straight from the box.

If you have bought a DVD player which is locked to Region 2, you have been very unlucky, I'm afraid. Almost all DVD players/recorders sold nowadays are region-free.

yes just bring it home with you and play it on your own DVD player if its region free (all DVD player can be made DVD region free by putting in a code but you will need to know model number and manufacture to find the code)

if its not you can recode it with Nero recode

by the way the pacific model onsale at asda(for £30.00) would play it no trouble

You may use SlySoft AnyDVD to remove a region code.

Read a step by step guide here:
