Please Please.. dont do it.
If you have insurance- call them now! People have NO IDEA what they are getting themselves into when they try to handle repairs out of pocket!
An adjuster will only pay a REASONABLE AMOUNT. You have no idea whats reasonable b/c you dont repair cars... she may scam you. She may come after you down the road for more money.. she may claim injury down the road.. you have no idea.
Did you know you also owe her a rental if you handle it out of pocket? Why pay that?
Sure your rates may go up a bit... but not as much as the repairs cost! And it will be zero out of pocket for you!
Let the experts handle this! I cant stress that enough!

Well first, who was at fault?? If you were not at fault, you pay nothing, contact your insurance right away and let them handle it. if she did not call her insurance, she may not have had coverage in the first place, thus, she should not have been driving. If that was the case and the cops got involved, she would have been in alot of trouble. Your insurance company will be able to find out if she had insurance coverage or not. PLEASE, do not pay out of your pocket if it was not your fault. Call your insurance company. Now if you were at fault, and only if this was a minor fender bender, and you can afford to pay for the damages out of pocket, do so to prevent a premium increase on your insurance, but do not pay whatever she says it will cost, have her to show proof of a estimate for repair and follow up on the estimates yourself. If there is major damage, go back to your insurance. You may then face a premium increase but there is something fishy as to why she didnt call her insurance. If it turns out that she didnt have coverage, even you were at fault, the fault will then automatically be hers because of no insurance and shouldnt have been driving. Good luck.

If you want to leave the insurance company out of it, for instance if it is a minor accident than you can try to come to an agreement and pay her if you have the money. This way you can prevent an increase in your premium or a loss of insurance if they decide to cancel. If you do not have the money, your only other option is to contact your insurance company and tell them you were in an accident and give them all the information. THey will take it from there.

Contact your insurance and make out a report as to what happened. If she calls again, refer her to your insurance company, and let them handle it. Hopefully you aren't at fault, and if you are you didn't admit to it. Either way, that's why you have insurance. Your insurance will discuss it with her insurance.

does she have insurance? do you have insurance? who's fault was the wreck. these are things you need to know. if she doesn't have ins but you do she shouldn't have been operating her vehicle and i wouldn't pay. if both of you do, and its your fault then turn it into your ins and let them handle it. good luck
