My first question is that im 15 years old and weigh like 9 and a half stone, i wear size 10 - 12 in trousers (which is a 35" waist) and 12 - 14 years of age in tops.. I think im around 5 ft 2 in height.. I must also admit i do not exercise regular and i am totally to blame for me being abit big in some areas ( stretch marks too).. But is this overweight for my age?

Also i hate my thighs, the tops of my arms and my hips (love handles) I am also very scared that my bum is going to go flat if i dont exercise.. Im going on holiday to spain with my BF and his dad and step mum in october and was wondering if anybody had any idea in how to loose weight in that time? Any diet plans that are good?

I have a exercise bike in my garden and as i dont like to go out around my area (scary stuff) so it means i cant run. Shall i use this excercise bike? Its one where you have to sit down and peddle will this make my bum flat?

Thank you for reading and sorry it seems like my life story

=D

You need to exercise, exercise, and then exercise. You should be getting at least 45 minutes of cardio a day. The exercise bike is good and you can also get some cardio videos, like tae bo.

You must start eating smaller portions (take what you would normally eat and half it), you need to stop eating all sugar, STOP DRINKING SODA - you should only be drinking tea and water, and limit your carbs.

Your body mass index shows that you have a BMI of 24.3, placing the BMI-for-age at the 86th percentile for girls aged 15 years 0 months. This means that you are at risk of becoming overweight. If you become overweight at this age, it will be very difficult for you in the future to ever be slim.

Do not worry about your butt going flat. If anything, working out will accentuate it because it will tone the rest of your body.

I know it may seem like these tips are going to be difficult to do, but they will be worth it. I'm sure you don't want to end up as an obese person with all the health problems that come along with that. Try joining a gym - they have all sorts of fun things you can do for exercise. The secret is to keep mixing it up so that you stay interested. If you just do the same activity all teh time you will be less likely to keep it up.

It will be VERY hard at first to keep up an exercise routine, but it gets much easier when you start seeing results. When your body becomes more toned and when you start feeling better physically then you will start to love exercising and eating right. Good Luck!!!

Please watch out, I'm certain that 1200 energy consistent with day is regarded a VERY strict nutrition so you should not move underneath that. Also, as is claimed above, wasting weight this rapidly makes it complex to maintain the load off. I could reckon that menu is approximately 1200, which is fine however you could wish to devour a bit of bit extra, relying on what your consumption was once earlier than beginning the nutrition. I'm basing that in your spagetti being round three hundred energy - i.e. now not a significant component and with out sauce. There are plenty of low-cal pasta sauces you'll make with only a few tomatoes, a few basil and a few creme recent or anything. I'm veggie too and conscious of protein - I could definately suggest a few yoghurt, low fats cheese, quorn tofu and seeds or anything to broaden your protein consumption. Remember too that protein continues you fuller for longer than carbs or fats do. So creating a sensible quorn mince bolognaise sauce with a bit of of pasta for lunch could give up you consuming a lot within the afternoon or at dinner. Because of protein problems I could now not suggest watering down your milk as is usually recommended above. But watering down fruit juice could good me a well concept sure, even though you'll be able to might be handiest reduce 50 energy in doing so. Good success, however please watch out and do not surprise your frame an excessive amount of.

It's ok hun, your able to get in better shape if you set realistic goals. Try drinking alot of water and exercise realistically. By that I mean, even if you start out working out 5 or 10 minutes at a time two or three times a week, if you keep it up, you will eventually be jogging long distances and have a great body. I know because I've been there and drank lots of water and am know in shape and jogging like 4 miles without trouble and feel great. Be realistic and you can get there. Oh, and no rewarding yourself with food. Hope this helps bubye

find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio exercise (cycling is one of them) 4-6 times a week for 30-50min, light weight training
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)
