Yeah, reading in the car makes me compltley sick!! The nite before go to bed late. Take an ipod with you and just try to nap the whole way. Eat some food too ha thatll pass time by. Def try not to read cuz youll feel sick.

I too suffer from motion sickness, and I take 'gravol' for it, but it makes you soooo sleepy.... Reading makes it worse... so maybe try to think of other activities...

I've also used a no-name brand of "gravol" called "travel tabs" these seem to have less of a "tired" effect... and allow me to read for short stints... I was actually able to watch a movie on a portable dvd player after taking one of these...

Also, try to sit in the front if at all possible, that really helps!

You can buy travel sickness tablets and it will help you a lot. Remember to read the label and follow the instructions on them .

You can by "over the counter", Dramamine,
or something called Bonnine...they are for the same thing "carsick or nausea"...I get this when I fly...keep them in your purse so you always have them...and they both cost several dollars..

try using something called queezy pops. They're basically a medicated lollypop that helps prevent motion sickness. also try keeping the wilndows open as much as possible because sometimes a little fresh air can help.
