In Ohio, you do not have th list your name on the title to insure the car; however, some insurance companies may say otherwise.

Either on the front or on the back where you put the info when you transfer the title. It's my understanding you have to have car insurance even when you don't own a car when you apply for your driver's license. That tickles me--should I get mortgage insurance for a house I don't own, too? Just name some address and take out insurance on it?
