20When the disciples saw this, they were amazed. "How did the fig tree wither so quickly?" they asked.

I can tell you how to find out how to find it yourself, then you'll never have to take anyone's word again for what the Bible says.

Go to an online concordance (use Google to find one, type "online concordance" in the search box) and type something like "Jesus curse tree" or something like it -- any words you recall from the story -- into the search box in the concordance. If you have a paper concordance at home, or can go to a library to use one, look up "curse" or "wither" or "tree." That should do it. You can now find anything you want.

You can do the same kind of word search in an online Bible, too. There are several good ones available. Go to Google again to find them.

Mat 21:18 Now in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered.
Mat 21:19 And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on thee henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.
Mat 21:20 And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!
Mat 21:21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.

It's in Mark 11:12-14 and 11:20-24

The 1st set of verses is where Jesus said don't bear any fruit, and the 2nd set shows where the tree wilted up.

12The next day as they were leaving Bethany, Jesus was hungry. 13Seeing in the distance a fig tree in leaf, he went to find out if it had any fruit. When he reached it, he found nothing but leaves, because it was not the season for figs. 14Then he said to the tree, "May no one ever eat fruit from you again." And his disciples heard him say it.

20In the morning, as they went along, they saw the fig tree withered from the roots. 21Peter remembered and said to Jesus, "Rabbi, look! The fig tree you cursed has withered!"
22"Have faith in God," Jesus answered. 23"I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. 24Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. 25And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins."

Dear, I am not trying to be flippant but rather to help you use the internet in a way that'll be much more satisfactory to YOU.

There are MANY online - and searchable - versions od the Bible. (Just google: "bible online".)

An even simpler way to find the famous quote you're looking for would be to google: bible + jesus + fig tree + fruit.
(Yes, it was a FIG tree. ;))

Good luck!
