Most of the time my feet are as cold as ice cubes.

At night when I go to bed, they are usually freezing cold. But for the past little while I have been waking up in the middle of the night and it feels like someone has put hot coals underneath my feet and they feel like they are literally on fire. Last night it was so bad it woke me up four different times.

Has anyone had this happen before ? I have a family history of heart disease and I'm wondering if this is due to poor circulation or if it could possibly be some type of nerve problem.

Anyone had this or know what this sound like ??

I'm going to schedule a dr.'s appt, but I was just curious what this could be.

Sounds like it could be what my hubby has. It's called periperal neuropathy, and is common in diabetics, but it can occur in anyone. He is not a diabetic. . Anyway, it's one possibility. If so, you should be referred to a neurologist.

sounds to me like a nerve problem and sometimes, those are related to other problems like diabetes. I don't want to scare you, but you should definitely have your dr run an extensive blood test and just check everything out. Just make sure everything is ok, ya know? but they should be able to prescribe you something to help with your feet.
good luck! hope everything's ok!!
