I drink 4 litres or more of water every single day. I can't get enough of it!
So, heres what I experienced with drinking so much water.
Frequent urination. This is a GOOD thing! Your body is flushing out toxins and waste from your system as a result of being properly hydrated! When you are well hydrated, your urine will be clear with no odour.
And the reason you don't get so hungry is because you are filling your tummy with water. A ton of diet books and programs suggest when you feel the urge to snack, drink a warm glass of water. A lot of the time, when you get the urge to snack, its because your body wants SOMETHING, not necessarily the snack- most likely it wants more hydration. You still need to eat properly, obviously. Don't stop eating, or your body will get off balance, and you might get ill.
You will probably lose weight if you drink a lot AND eat sensibly. You should always eat before you get really hungry, anyways- when you get really hungry and eat, your body stores more of the fat from the food then if you eat before your body says its hungry.
Drinking water is good for you, keep doing it! About 90% of the North American population aren't adequately hydrated.
Another good thing about drinking so much water- it will help your skin out a lot. It flushes toxins from your skin, and keeps your skin feeling and looking younger, longer. You will notice a decrease in blemishes and zits, because you drink enough water that your skin gets rid of the toxins and crap that give you the belmishes/zits in the first place.
Keep at it! As your body gets used to so much hydration, you will start going pee less, as your body learns how to effectively use the extra hydration. Though I must admit- I still go pee like once an hour, ahahahah... might be because I'm 36 weeks preg, too!

eat something....like chocolate! that can be addicting too. And find some soda or juice. or even make kool aid or that crystal lite stuff since most of it is water. I know some of those foods aren't exactly healthy for you, but it'll break your addiction. Just don't eat too much of them. As for the weight thing...you do burn weight quicker if you drink about eight 8ounce glasses of water per day, and it will fill you up as well. But an addiction? Don't drink too much, you could get really sick from doing that. careful.

I'm not so sure about an actual water addiction, but consuming too much water at once is actually dangerous. You can get water intoxication, and it can be deadly.I posted a link so you can read more about it.

The first couple of days you will go more often, drinks lots of water but don't force yourself. If you get hungry eat something just don't get carried away and eat lots of junk food. Eat lean meats, fish, poultry and fresh fruits and veggies.

when you start drinking more water your body gets used to it and you feel thirsty much more than before.
dont drink more than a galon a day, its not healthy to drink too much water because its too much for body to handle and also you flush out the good things like calcium.

Sounds like "too much of a good thing".
If you're not careful, you'll dilute your blood too much, washing the salts out of your system. This can make you very sick.
