Faith is not for wussies! Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.?

No one has ever seen God. God works through his creation, man in order to accomplish his purpose. It has always been that way.

If you were standing at the Red Sea when it parted, your humanistic thinking would say Moses was a great magician if you didn't already believe in God.

So you see, this is just the way God wants to do it. Our questioning why he doesn't reveal himself or whatever is only an indication of our humanistic thinking - of course we can't understand God in alot of things because we don't have the mind of God. But for alot of things we will not understand God because of our lack of faith.

So don't look to explain God through human reasoning and logic. The only way to even come close to understanding God is by just believing and through believing, accepting. But this is averse to the human intellect. We expect there is an explanation for everything. God does not reveal himself to us on our terms, so you will be continually frustrated by your questions.

i heard about the separation of the sea. but back then there was no such thing as a magician. i don't know who said faith is for wussies, but your absolutely right. but the fact that i cannot prove anything nor can you we will fight a never ending debate on if god existed or not. till we die. maybe you'll go to heaven or hell depending if god wanted you to keep asking questions on yahoo (whom supports any website either good or evil.)
or if your body like mine will rot in dirt. inside a coffin if our family can afford it.

Sorry, dear. You are so dreadfully wrong. All of us live by faith whether we're wussies or not. Reality is responsive to our learned ego beliefs whether they are nonsense or not.

God is not your daddy in the sky, just the way reality works. Miracles are everyday occurrences.

Believing anything makes it impossible for you to KNOW anything - even the workings of what you label 'God.' Every moment of your experience reveals the contents of your own faith or belief system not the nature of God or reality. We were given human reasoning to pursue the 'divine' on our terms.
