i flow to varsity in NYC, and there are no frats at my college although this is an artwork college so... yeah lol. i'm sorry to tell you, yet until you recognize somebody you truly can no longer get into bars or golf equipment and not utilising a pretend identity, and an extremely stable pretend at that. perhaps in Brooklyn or Queens, yet no longer long island, IDk what your pals are speaking approximately. maximum ppl stay in dorms in the initiating, and finally get residences in the event that they are able to have adequate money it. human beings nevertheless have "homestead events" even nevertheless i assume you will desire to call them place of residing events, i've got been to 3 events on ppls roofs which replaced into cool. the better section approximately NYC is that its next to impossible to get a DUI b/c you are able to take subway, busses or cabs. All in all, i think of it relies upon on what college you flow to, yet there is often something to do in NYC regardless of in case you're underage. stable good fortune, and that i could propose getting a stable pretend identity (like an extremely stable one b/c maximum golf equipment will test IDs now).

You have snobs at both school. The only difference is NYU's snobs are artistically inclined. As far as location, NYU is in the heart of Greenwich Village, plenty of artistic expression on that campus. Columbia on the other hand is in Morningside Heights, however, as far as quality of education, Columbia gets the nod over NYU.
