I play tennis but my hair often gets in my way because of its length. My hair is about two inches past the shoulders when it is up in a ponytail. What are some suggestions to keep my hair out from between my hands and pulling it down when I finish up my forehand tennis stroke? Besides cutting it?

Do a chignon! I had really long hair until I was 36, and the chignon works for everything except childbirth.
Pull your hair back to the crown of your head [ like a ponytail ] and twist until it starts coiling. Continue twisting and coiling until all hair is up. Use as many bobby pins as necessary to pin in place. [ I used four, my sister with the same type hair used about twenty! ] Finish with a bit of hair spray.
For variety, braid it before you put it up.
You will have lovely waves at the end of the day.

Try the ponytail that you don't pull the ends all the way through - kind of a loop.

Also - I SWEAR by the Goody High Impact stay-put ponytailers and headbands!
