Well according to the latest poll : Protestants-52%, Roman Catholic-24%, Mormon-2%, Buddhist-2%, Jewish-1%, Muslim-1%, that leaves 18% of the population do not adhere to a religion.

I know that Christians make up a LARGE percentage of the religious population. And Jews make up only about ten percent, if that.

There are no exact figures on this but approxiately 60% of Americans go to church/temple/whatever on a regular basis. Although that is no indication of religosity or the degree to which their faith affects their lives. More often than not they tend to be conservative as well.
