The world's fastest production vehicle, I believe, was the Bugatti Veyron. But recently the Barabus TKR has been thought to take the crown.
The Barabus TKR can achieve 0-60 in well under 2 seconds!
The Veyron can only muster that feet in just under 3 seconds.

The Corvette sledgehammer, of course. Unless you are asking "...fastest production car..." and that honor goes to the Ferrari Enzo. Or maybe you're asking the fastest street legal car? That will be Ameritech McLaren F1, Top Speed (mph), 231.

Right now it's a Bugatti. I can't remember the model name, but it's an absolutely amazing car.
