I was just wondering at what age do you think is the right age to have a baby?
I know it depends on the circumstances, money, the realationship..etc. But all that put aside, just purely what would be the best age in your opinion?
My opinion is around early 20s, as my mum and dad were in thier 30s when they had me, and i wish they had of been younger!

AFTER you've graduated from college, gotten started in your career (I looked at your profile and you look like you have a lot of goals - good for you!), etc. You seem like you are on the right path, so why are you thinking about babies right now? I had one son when I was 23 and one when I was 33, and I was ready for both.
Point is, you'll know when you're ready. I wouldn't worry about what age, but I would suggest making sure you PLAN your kids...I mean, avoid pregnancy until you ARE ready.
Good luck.

there is no perfect age everyone is different. i think if you have your kids when you are in your 20s then you will still be able to have time together later on in your 40 and 50s and still be able to enjoy it, n the other hand if you leave it till your 30s then you can have your fun as a couple first before kids come along. i dont think having kids over the age of 45 is a good idea though. Remember the risk of certain abnormalities increase as you get past 35 so ideally having kids before then i would say is best

I was only just 21 by 3wks when I had my first but i wish i had been another year or 2 older i also know of a grl who was 15 when she had her first & now has a nice job with her kids old enough to be left on their own so she can enjoy her life shes about thirty now,
where my oldest is 11 and even though i hav younger children aswel i couldnt go & leave even her on her own for another few years yet!
So i guess it depends really on when your ready because your looking at giving at least 15yrs of your life to taking care of your children & putting them first even before you take any other factors into consideration!

Well since you said forget the circumstances I guess I would say a VERY mature 20 or 21 yr old. Having and taking care of a baby is ALOT of work, you will never be ready but you should be mature enough to care well for yourself before thinking about a baby.

I think about 20's to 30's probably no older than 30 unless you haven't found the right person yet.... i think we've already said that we'll be 25 or something, want to get married first and have a few years been married before we have kids.

Id say early 20s too because then by the time you're childs old enough to leave home you'll still be young enough to have some fun wahey! If you're at college though, definately after then and not before. That's just my opinion though.

in all honesty there is no prefect age to have a baby..a 20ish person could be mature and responsible enough to handle it and be great yet a 30ish person could not be mature enough. It needs to be that the person(s) having the baby be aware that being a parent is a 24/7/365 job, there are no days off, no sick days, no vacation days..a child is not something that if you get bored or don't want to do it anymore you can just walk away.

Maybe in the American society, they want to set an age. But overall, if you feel ready to have a kid. That is your choice. I'm not condonning teen pregnancy, but it all depends on them. The real fact lies, how responsible are they. You can be 18 and take care of your kid throughout. You can be 28 and be very irresponsible. Although, rare. But it happens.

Biologically speaking, between 18 and 30. Financially speaking, whenever you have a stable job. All that into consideration, 25 or 26.
