The difference will be minimal, just run it on high if that's you're comfortable with. The only thing you're concerned about is the extra electricity the battery has to put out to run it on high (with the increased fan speed), and it's not that much of an effort for the alternator to replace that lost energy. The compressor runs pretty much the same amount of time no matter what setting it is, now if you lowered the temperature dial that's another story.

Turning it to low would do nothing but slow the fan speed and air wouldn't move as fast, the compressor would still run. Max only turns off the outside air flow and recirculates what is in the passenger compartment. The amount of fuel running the air conditioner is small enough that you can essentially ignore it, be comfortable.

low or high blower makes no difference to MPG, it's the A/C on or off that changes it.
blower speed is controlled by resistors, so you can either let the resistor convert the current to heat energy or turn the fan at higher RPM

It does and it doesn't! In like five years all you have saved is $1. I don't think that is worth it. i recommend that you have it on the setting that you enjoy the most! I prefer mine on high when I am hot, low when I am a little overheated but not dying from heat, and low when I just need a little breeze! Hope that I helped you out!

Probably wouldn't make much difference. The AC being on means you still have to run the compressor. And that's what eats away your fuel economy. Running it on low probably does burn less fuel, but you may not notice the difference.

Yes, you will save approximately $1 within 5 years.
Here's a better tip: just skip one cappuccino at Strarbuck and you'll save MUCH more.

yes, the higher you have the air on the more gas you use up.... you should keep it on low as much as possible.

I do that too. I haven't noticed a difference though. Sorry.
