First write down all your ideas and experiences you want to include in your book.
Once you have a reasonable outline of what you really want to include, you can start to sort out the fine details.
After you have done this, you can begin to put everthing into rough draft and keep revising and editing it until you are satisfied with the finished product.
Only after you feel confident in the finshed product (which actually only means, it's closer to being finished then when you first started) you can start to shop it around to publishers or just publish it yourself and keep ALL the money.
Good luck!

Start at where you were born how many brothers and sisters and their names. Stories of you growing up and some stories of how you felt about the things in your life.
Did you grow up in the city, knowing city streets of Chicago?
Or rural American say Iowa and milk cows.
Then go up the ladder when i was 10 or 14 Then keep going to the current day. Use word processor and correct spelling and grammar. when you get done print it out and see how you like it.
One person did this and went year to year and put it in a big envelope and eveyone loved it and he was able to sell it.
Just start at the beginning is the easiest.

Keep a journal, so that when you are ready to start, you'll have some of them still.
Everyday write a little, some days you will write alot, some days not so much.
Once you are ready to start publishing, start sending them in to different magazines that may be interested in printing, or to an ediort that help you get them into print.
