in this day and age this is most certainly true. but this doesn't stop women from wanting men, regardless if they need them or not.

i don't think fishes need a bicycle but not really some of them can be lesbian and need other women. As for me yeah i do need a guy in my life.

The only thing a woman NEEDS a man for is fertilization. She doesn't even need the man for that, she can get artificial insemination so all she need is his seed. So, the answer to your question is "YES".
