Ok, I'm going to try and tackel this question.
The Bible, is made up of two books, new and old testament. The old testament is also known as the Torah to the jewish people. The Old Testament, in the original Hebrew and through Qabbalic interpretation (this is accord to Rabbi Copper in the book G-d is a Verb), that "God" is the name humans give the positive aspect of a larger being called Ein Sof. Ein Sof is good/bad, light/dark, sun/moon, female/male. It is everything and nothing at the same time, It is what came before G-d, before the Beginning.
SO the Christians don't always use all the information in the Bible and they fail to realize that bad things happen and good things happen because every action has an equal and opposite reaction (or so say the laws of physics).
Think of a ying yang, God is the name of the white part of it and Satan is the black part of it; but neither white or black could exsist without the circle. So, Christians are chosing to split the actual Creator into two because it's hard for them to cope with the confusion that is Ein Sof.

Not again. I'm so sick of the atheism. Gosh when Armageddon comes the ones who truly love Jehovah God will never have to see or hear from another atheist or ridiculer again. It gets so old day in and day out, to keep explaining yet the retarded cannot comprehend. Well, God will heal the truly retarded, but the fakers will not prevail.
Ever heard of unforeseen occurrences? They befall us all. Ever heard of human error? We cause many of the pitfalls that "befall" us all even today. Ever heard of global warming? We are causing that at an alarming rate. Do you understand that global warming causes other ecological failures and breakdowns? Yes, we are guilty of that too.
The kinds of things Satan has power over is convincing ones like you to continue blasphemy against Jehovah God, or he dangles what is immoral in the faces of the non-believers --- and they go for it hook, line and sinker. His biggest strong hold is pushing false religion, politics, blasphemy, men who lie with men, men who use the flesh unnaturally, drunkeness, bestiality, gambling/the greedy person (just take a look at Vegas), lying, stealing, cheating, and the list goes on and on.
We humans are susceptible to any old bad thing that can happen in today's system of things. After Armageddon there will be no more pain, no more outcry, no more suffering and the last thing that will be removed is death. Obviously Armageddon is not far off. Remember these things:
James 1: 12 - 15
Happy is the man that keeps on enduring trial, because on becoming approved he will receive the crown of life, which Jehovah promised to those who continue loving him. When under trial, let no one say: “I am being tried by God.” For with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone. But each one is tried by being drawn out and enticed by his own desire. Then the desire, when it has become fertile, gives birth to sin; in turn, sin, when it has been accomplished, brings forth death.
2 Peter 3: 8 - 10
"However, let this one fact not be escaping YOUR notice, beloved ones, that one day is with Jehovah as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day. Jehovah is not slow respecting his promise, as some people consider slowness, but he is patient with YOU because he does not desire any to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance. Yet Jehovah’s day (Armageddon) will come as a thief..."
Where will you be? Still moaning and groaning on a Yahoo Forum up until the last minute? There are better much more worthwhile things you can and should be doing, brain.

What's not to understand? Powerful doesn't logic out to ALL happenings come from that power..., remember 'FREE WILL' and the law of physics (that God made) of for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction?
You can take FIRE and cook a birthday cake.., or you can set a school on fire and burn people up..., it's HOW YOU USE IT!
Just try and get this:
GOOD = GOD/JESUS CHRIST/HOLY SPIRIT
BAD = DEVIL/SATAN/ENEMY
Mankind is NOT supreme without choosing a LORD..., NOT to choose God's way and plan; Jesus of Nazareth, is choosing by default, the devil/satan. It's just all according which "spirit" you choose to honor, or host, or bow to.
We, people are not capable of being autonomous or not capable of choosing to live without spiritual support. We are subordinate spirits, who have a mind, will and emotions and we live in a body. We follow either the "good" or the "bad"..., and that's a fact.
May you one day soon "get it". It is the only "logical" thing that's happening and there is nothing religious about it.
From the outside looking in, it's not really understandable. Get in the water and get some understanding. It's easy to judge and label and call what you don't know as "religious".

I'm quiet surprised they don't blame humans for earthquakes saying it's god's way of punishing us for not worshiping him or some other gibberish. I'm still trying to understand how god did make everything but always not a word on HOW he did it. As a reply you will get bible scriptures, "because god just did" and other child like replies. Instead of giving up they continue to try and prove their god did everything and try to talk you out of getting an answer out of them unless they are able to consult the bible.

Suffering and death is certainly the most frequently asked question that theists face. Though I don't think the question is unanswerable. (This is not a perfect world, but it is the best way to get to a perfect world). You might want to check out some of the writings by Norm Geisler who has done quite a bit of work on the subject.
I've actually just started a blog in an attempt to clear up some confusions regarding faith and reason. You can check it out here:

Hope that helps. :O)

For religious people it's got nothing to do with logic; most of the time its an emotional attachment. Its like calling some guys mother a **hore, he'd defend his mother by any means and would never agree with you, even if what you're saying is true.

No, you are overgeneralizing. God moves and speaks through natural signs in the weather. He does this to either test our faith or to reveal to us of the sin that is in our lives. God has a plan and it is being acted out even now. In that plan there is suffering, but there is hope. The hope says, "Cling close to me, follow my ways, and in the end you will be rewarded." Who am I to question the ways of God?

That is so true. It's time they wake up and overstand that nature is a living entity in itself and even the God they profess about is subjected to the laws of it.
