My sister is having surgery....?

Thursday she is getting her tonsils out and while her and my mom are at the hospital i'll be home alone and im thinking since she will be bed ridden 4 a couple of days i could like make her a card and decorate her room, and suggestions. btw, shes 8

use ribbons and balloons, also set up an area where she can color (with crayons and coloring books and books to read,think of activities she can still do while resting in bed) and make her a card that would be good, all my kids have had their tonsils out and my youngest is have her palate reconstructed on the 21. good luck. she will enjoy the time you spend with her after the surgery more than anything. I have a 8 yr old and shoe loves tinkerbell

Talk to your parents about it tell them it is a suprise you want to do for her and see if they have any suggestions. That would also gain there permision..and just go with things your sister likes. I had my tonsils taken out when I was five all i rember is getting lots of ice cream and soft foods.

Draw her a picture with tonsils in opened mouth like two mushroom wit white spots, and second picture without mushrooms, and with big ice-cream.

awh poor little girl... surgerys not fun. shell be fine though thats a simple surgery. ive had two for my stomach and im 15.

i think that would be very nice of you to do that.
go visit her and get her her favorite ice cream.

try care bears or really bright colors. print out some color sheets for her stuff she may be able to do while she is at home... that is too sweet of you :)
