I read that some guys did this and it got them faster. Put 2 and a half ankle weights on each foot and run in place for 30 sec. with high knees then rest for 30 sec and do 5 sets of those u think it works.

THose are the same guys who will be limping around in 5 years because they ruined their knees.

The amount of stress ankle weights puts on knees is not worth whatever improvement you might experience should you be able to avoid the agony of injury.

That sounds like an excellent exercise for lots of things!! To run faster, to build up leg and thigh muscles, and definitely to burn off some calories. Be sure to work up to 5 sets gradually. And expect to be sore!! Take it slow.

I've heard of wearing ankle weights all day for tennis so you feel more agile and light on the court, but this concept seems like it would work too
