My fiance and I sent out our wedding invitations about a week ago and just got a call Friday that the location where we were having it was sold, so we had to move the location. I need a web site or wording on how to write the correction invitation with the new location and new time....PLEASE HELP!!! They have to go out on Monday!!!!!

Suggestion: write the replacement invitation as if it were "the first invitation being sent out" . . just changing the time and location.

At the bottom left corner or in the center of the bottom put these words "Change in time and location." Yes, you will get some telephone calls BUT the simple explanation at the bottom should be enough for most people to understand.

How odd I hope you get a refund!

Just send out another card with a correction:

"Our reception has moved! Instead of Smith Village on Smith Street we will be having the reception at Joe's Shack on James Street.

Love, Jane and John Doe"

Due to circumstances totally beyond our control, we must change our reception location; the building has been sold and is now unavailable to us.
We would still dearly appreciate you coming to our wedding and being with us to celebrate!
(list new location and new time)
Thanks so much for understanding, and we look forward to seeing you on our special day!

**I'm sure everything will still work out WONDERFULLY!!! Congrats and good luck!

Reception Moved!

We were just informed Jones Ballroom was sold, so we've moved our reception to Johnson Ballroom, 211 Smith St, Anytown, USA!

Thanks, and we hope to see you there!

Include new directions from the church to the reception location.

My brother's reception was moved only days before
(a tornado flattened their orig spot)--they just announced it at the church--there was nothing else they could do! At least you have some time!
