There are no charges that can be filed until she breaks the Law.

Think about it from her point of view, she is worried about her grandson. Does she have reason to be?

Lets slow down a minute. How old are you? Is the father of your son a rapist? Why do you have to worry about a boyfriend or go to parties? You have a baby to take care of for the next 15 or 16 years. Where are your parents in all of this? Where is this woman's son? Do you really know if your boyfriend didn't curse at this woman? Where I come from a permit only allows you to drive with a licensed driver. You do not have a license, did you have a driver with you. You need to grow up very fast, you have a baby and now you have to be an adult.

The woman you describe reminds me of someone I know here in NY who tried to wrestle her granddaughter away from the divorced mother and fther. She was not successful.

I would go to the police department, or better yet, call, and say who you are and where you live. Ste that you'd like to come in and discuss filing criminal charges against the baby's grandma. They; will oblige you.

When you get there, make sure you have the detective's name, unless the person is someone else who had the authority to developer such charges against grandma.

Has anyone else heard that she want the kid? Let them put together a notarized affidavit on that fact, make a few copies of i, keep Inga one Ito two, and take the noticed original and bring it to the police.

Have written out very specifics as to the date, what hysterectomy Claude, and the police deposition,
If they realize she's been harassing you, which may be the least of thee charges, they WILL GOP after her.

Let me see if I got this right. This woman is your child's grandmother, meaning she is either your mother of the mother of the child's father. I am assuming the child's father is not the current boyfriend.

Criminal charges are going to be hard to file. Although is sounds like she is stalking you, I suspect she will claim she is just concerned about her grandson's care.

You might be better off filing for a restraining order. The court can order the woman to stay away from you, your boyfriend, and even the child.

Where is the child's father in the picture? Is this woman acting on his behalf? If he is out of the picture, and not paying any kind of support you can use that fact in securing the protection order.

If there is a Legal Aid group in your community they can assist you in getting the order filed.

If she is filing false police reports on you, this is a criminal offense. Usually the police will make that charge though instead of you. This could be considered as stalking, but you need to check the statutes in your state that define stalking. If she is threatening you with physical violence it would definitely be considered stalking and you could get some type of restraining order on her. My advise is to get an attorney. There may be some civil action possible also.

I think your baby's gramma should be the least of your worries, it sounds like you are very young with a child and trying to still live an unattached single life when you obviously have serious responsibilities. It sounds as though this woman is trying to ensure some stability and safety for the child involved. Grow up.
