Start now! If you really don't want to compete with all the other students then invest your time in something that will continue to make money for you when you go back to school. I am an Arbonne Consultant and I would be happy to work with you and show you how to work an Arbonne Business of your own. Most of Arbonne's Independent Consultants start their buisness when they already have a job, are a student, or have a house full kids. We have a few students like you that while in school became top consultants with Arbonne and received their white mercedes. Arbonne is a Health and Wellness Company. Been in business for over 29 years and are respected members of the Direct Selling Association. They have something for everyone and are what people are looking for now. Most people want to make healthier choices these days. You choose Arbonne and can work your schedule. If you get a job, you have to find someone to hire you and then you have to work the schedule they give you. You will be starting your own small business and you will keep receiving income even once you are back at school. I am not sure how much a summer job pays, but Arbonne offers you the opporturnity to create a very nice income. Please don't think this is just some get rich scheme. It is work, but in this case work pays off and you make what you are worth. No boss to decide for you. I can't really give you all the information here, but please consider it. Email me through my profile if you would like more information and then you can decide if it would fit what you want. Live Happy, Karen

Probably about a month ago. How you search depends what type of job you're looking to find. If it's just a summer job in a retail shop, put together your CV (make several copies) and go around to the shops (get their early and be prepared with cv, pen, id, etc). If you're hoping for a "professional" position in an office environment, check job listings and placement agencies. Most of that you can do online. Also, ask everyone you know if they know of any temporary positions. It's always helpful to be recommended by an insider. Good luck!

I'm a distributor for a company in the wellness industry. Our company creates products that are based on ancient regenerative philosophies of yin and yang and the 5 elements of nature. The products are formulated with concentrated living food-grade herbs, fruits and vegetables which makes them highly regenerative. This is where the money is throughout the world, building people up to prosperity and wellness.
This company has been in the direct marketing business for 25 years now and is a multi-billion dollar company. They are dept free and do business in more than 40 countries in the world. Famous celebrities and millions of other people use these products daily as they are of highest quality and effectiveness. This business can be operated from anywhere on the planet as long as you have a phone and or Internet connection. I'm not going to say this is an easy job because you have to get out and talk to people. I'm sure this is not difficult for you.. This is a business of building people to their highest potential. You will be rewarded very well for your efforts. Contact me, as I will treat you like a real person and partner. I can send you more specific details if your interested in this opportunity.
By the way, I'm very selective on who I allow to be my partner as I don't want people wasting my time if their not serious. My time is just as important as yours..

it depends what sort of work you are looking for- but definately keep your eye open from around about now. If you are looking for work abroad then from April companies e.g. hotels, start looking for employees, if you just want to get some hours in a local cafe or shop probably much later is fine. Why not work on your CV, print some copies out- poss with a covering letter giving hours of availabillity and go talk to managers in places you fancy working for- they will ltell you not to bother, take your CV and keep it just in case, or tell you when is the right time if they know they will be recu=ruiting. It doesn't hurt to ask and one or two places may be snotty about it- ottakers was, when I asked them for work- but they won't ever remember you if you go in again, so there's no need to feel embarrassed- take a mate if your feeling shy for some support

well right now! but is better before the summer vacation that way you don't have to compete with a the high school kids. and a good place would be at the mall that way you can work on your people skills or arecreational center and get good references when you get a real job.

I would say today! It's a Sunday -- start looking! Another good site to look at if you want to work abroad is coolworks.com. They have a lot of great summer camp/national park opportunities.

Right now. In fact, you're probably too late since many employers start screening in the spring.
