CSI, I am a Christian, was once an atheist and was wondering how many other atheists had felt the same way I did.

Right now. I am angry because I am not sure if He is real or if he is just part of a big Legend or Family Tradition. I want to believe he is but I have so many doubts. Common sense tells me he isn't, but then I think about it and common sense tells me he is. How else could life exist? What will happen once I die, because I know I will. Everybody dies and if there is nothing after that, then I should not even exist right now and I do exist, and I am alive, and I have a question. If the Bible is true and real then God is real. How do I know if the Bible is real? In it it says to read it pray about it and ask God. But I don't even know if he is real! It's a catch 22 and needs to be broken.

Angry that a non-existent being doesn't exist?
This makes not sense to me.
But I see in your Additional Details that you were angry about god's nonexistence.
All I can say is, when I first realized I didn't buy the whole god thing, it didn't make me angry at all.
I suppose if I'd been brought up with religion forced down my throat, and had gone through hell on Earth from terror and guilt, I'd be angry about that.
But it wouldn't be god's nonexistence that would anger me; it would be having been put through all that pain over a lot of insanity.

When I was a non-believer, I still felt there was some sort of "supernatural" purpose and point to the universe. I was angry that I didn't feel His presence in my life, but somehow, deep down inside, I always knew there was something greater than us out there.
