Wisdom teeth. Wisdom teeth, are teeth in the back of your mouth. They do not fit, in most cases, as I'm sure most of you are aware. Science, will say the teeth were needed for early man to chew raw meat etc, and our mouths simply got smaller, as we started eating less...difficult things. Evo-loo-shun. Now, I pitch to you this; If God created humans, in the form we currently are, why would he create imperfect people, who actually NEEDED to have a piece of their body removed at a certain point? You would think the all-knowing, all-powerful God would have noticed he added a few too many teeth for the mouth. Any explanations? Just curious.

Your explanation does seem to fit, Danny! Hmm...

The reason I didn't mention the tonsils, apendix, tail bone etc.. is because they don't actually HAVE to be removed at some point, Unless there's something wrong with you, wisdom teeth are SUPPOSED to be taken out.

TomTom, I don't personally have anything against Christians. (I really don't like anyone.) The world being supported on the backs of seaturtles is so rediculous, I wouldn't bother to ask, The wisdom teeth thing has actually been on my mind for a while.

Iggy, I'm sorry, I wasn't aware I was attacking anyone. Would you please point out where I did so? I felt my question quite rational, and I did indeed actually intend to get answers to it... Yet This still has yet to acttually happen..

Wow. No wonder you can't sleep. Wisdom teeth keep you from believing in God? Perhaps when you come face to face with God, you can ask Him this mind-boggling question!

You have to consider the fact that the world as it now exists is not the same physiologically as it was imeadiately after creation. Several factors come into play here. For starters the earth was covered by a vapor canopy as it says in Genesis where God seperated the waters above from the waters below by a a "firmament" which is basically saying that God created a seperation amidst a water ball by holding some of the water aloft by the atmosphere and a layer of ozone. When the "windows of heaven" were opened to allow the collapse of this canopy to flood the earth. (Hole in the ozone) this did several things to earths ability to enhance a healthy environment. The resulting exposure to UV rays over the ages have changed us genetically and we do not have the same nutritional values in our meat included diet and our DNA must have been affected in some way that abnormalities of the physical type became possible. This is just a part and partial effect of the fall of man upon all of creation And so if bad teeth were the least of our worries resulting from the disobedience of God's provision for us we would not be doing so bad would we?

You idiots are actually arguing about books. The evolutionists support the latest written theory(for which the scientists admit are only theories, not facts), and the creationists are going off the bible. You are both just as stupid and stubborn as each other.

For example how hard is it, as some have said, to beleive in a god that created evolution?

Ta-da! argument solved!!!

But no, its not in THE BOOK or part of THE THEORY so it can't be true.So lets keep fighting like a bunch of rednecks in a family fued.

Congratulations, you found an example of evolution in humans. Here are two more facts that you may find fascinating:
1. Not all Christians believe in Creationism. Many, if not most Christians (myself included) believe in the theory of evolution, and recognise that the story of the Creation is metaphorical.
2. Evolution, not Evo-loo-shun. Check your dictionary. We know how to pronounce it when it's spelled correctly.
And chill! Just because you don't agree with someone doesn't mean you have to attack them about it. Put your opinion across rationally.

You should get some sleep, Same Two. Wisdom teeth are supposed to come out after all your other teeth fell off, but with dentistry and longer living expectation of human beings those molars have become a nuisance.

why do you asume God is not bound by the laws he put into motion, ergo, why do you asume God is not bound by the laws of evolution ? why do assume he works through some strange process which denies everything we know about his creation ?
Einstein: "religion without science is blind, science without religion is lame"
since you are at it, why didn't you mention the appendix and the tail bone in humans?
I think I know what the point of your question really is, and that is "the Christians are backward, retarded, stupid people"
OK, then please tell me, why don't you just once pick on Hindus (the world is really a dream Lord Krisna is having, beautiful, but not convincing)
Jews (Moses did part the Red Sea (how can you believe that?)
Buddhists (the world is supported on the back of giant turtles)...
Is it something particular you have against Christians or is it just garden variety bigotry ?

Like the other modern animals in Genesis, maybe modern man was made "after their kind." I take it that "after their kind" means that modern animals were made similar to related prehistoric animals; that is using a plan, a blue print, a dna structure as the starting point.

Likewise for modern man, created similarly to prehistoric man, but with some modifications, the main one being that man was made in the image of God, that is having a spiritual nature as well as a physical body. God, evolution, genetic engineering - it all fits in Genesis.

God gave me wisdom teeth so I could attach my false teeth to them to hold them in my mouth.

I promise you that wisdom teeth have something to do with the nervous system. Just because science hasn't discovered this yet, doesn't make it not so.

The bullsh*t is getting deep - gotta get my hip waders on. C'mon -- you are really grasping at straws on this one. Comparing almighty God to wisdom teeth? Some people NEED their wisdom teeth. Not everyone gets theirs taken out. It is OUR choice to have them pulled. Most dentists say they HAVE to be taken out when they really don't. so there.

Well, as a Catholic of my entire life, I personally think that God sneezed, and there was the universe. It explains the big bang theory; think about it next time you sneeze. Everything accelerates off into all directions. And everything evolved from that.
