i just ate a pretty big salad with carrots, celery, pickles, banana peppers, a little bit of lightdone right thousand island dressing & balsamic vinegar dressing (just a little of both), and an apple and an orange.
i'm pretty sure this goes down as a fruit & veggie binge but i just want to know if it's going to add some badonkadonk to my mah donk-less behind. thanks

Ha.. your first answer is.. have you ever seen a skinny gorilla.?

Now a quick word on how to shed pounds..

For starters multiply your weight by 16. This tells you how many calories you need to maintain your current build. So, for example, a 200 pound guy needs 3,200 calories a day. if that same guy wants to loose weight, reduce that amount by 20 percent, for a total of 2,560 daily calories thats all there is to it..

Well not quite. You have to decide where that calorie deficit is going to come from. There are 3,500 calories in a pound. to lose 1 pound per week, you need to drop 500 calories a day. You have three choices..

* Burn 500 calories with exercise
* Concume 500 fewer calories in your diet.
* Split the difference by getting 250 fewer calories in your diet and burning 250 more calories with exercise.

The third approach is by far the most effective

hope this helps

You can gain weight eating anything at all that is not calorie negative, like lettuce and celery. You eat yourself fat on anything so long as you eat more calories than you burn.

You can loose weight eating anything too, so long as you eat less calories than you burn.

My last year university I was doing physically demanding labs, I was doing 3 sports classes for credit, I was on the varsity x-country running team and swam most every day. I also worked in the campus cafe, I put away 3-4 pieces of cheese cake A DAY, almost had HUGE smoothies and ate more grilled cheese sandwiches than I care to think of, on top of a "regular" diet. I lost 15 lbs that year, which put me at a total body fat of 13% - LOW for a woman.

Currently I'm pregnant, outside of balanced meals I'm pretty much only snacking on fruits and nuts and I'm gaining about 4 lbs a week! I'm on bed rest and have no way to burn energy.

Fruits and veggies have calories, and the way you gain weight is by eating more calories than your body needs. So yeah, it's possible.

However, it that is all you ate, it would be difficult to gain weight that way because they have more bulk than calories. in other words, you could eat about a gallon of fruits and veggies for the same amount of calories as a small bowl of ice cream. LOL.

You may have some "digestive issues" later on from all that fiber though!

All food has calories!! Calories cause you to gain weight! Sugary foods are high in calories. Vegetables and fruits are better choices of foods for a healthier body. Dressings have fats and are often high in calories. Light or vinegar are better choices for salads when counting calories. Exercise is an important part of a healthy lifestyle to keep from getting fat.

You won't gain weight from the salad and fruit but the salad dressing will add extra calories and if its fatty it could add as much as 23 grams of fat which=the same as a big mac

to lose 1lb you need to burn 350 more calories than you have taken in so if you eat and then burn less calories than you have taken in then you will gain weight but only a tiny amount.

it will stretch your stomack if you ate it all in a very short amount of time but otherwise - no it wont add any fat to your butt or any other place.
